Very little is known about this group. Marv Goldberg interviewed Bernie Mackey in 1976 and he remembered that Charlie ran a shoeshine stand across from the Stutz Bearcat automobile factory. They all sang and played guitar for the workers. [Goldberg, More Than Words Can Say, 1998, p. 5] |

However, while the workers might have appreciated the band, the police didn't. On August 30, 1930, Jerry Daniels was one of those arrested for "vagrancy" during their act. |
