Results of my 2008 group survey

Well, after the dust had settled, I managed to coerce 64 people into casting votes. (Once again, just to fool you into thinking it was an honest contest, I didn't vote myself.) For those of you with short memories, I asked for up to 10 favorite songs, in order, for the Fi-Tones (including the Cavaliers and backups to Al Jackson).

So here are the results. But first, the boring statistics:

The top 5 vote-getters:
  1. It Wasn't A Lie (392 points)
  2. Foolish Dreams (376 points)
  3. I Belong To You (317 points)
  4. I Call To You (225 points)
  5. Let's Fall In Love (214 points)
The best showing for a song that got NO number 1 votes was "Let's Talk It Over," at #14.

Every song received at least four votes.

The big surprise: "Foolish Dreams," the number two song, is everybody's second or third favorite song. Only two people voted it number one.

And now, without too much further delay: THE RESULTS (Ta-Da!).
I assigned a weight to each vote - 10 points for #1; 9 points for #2; etc.

The results appear below. After each song title is a list of those who voted it number one
