This was the first of all the Ink Spots groups. Although there were earlier groups with different names that included most of the members, this group first formed around 1932-33 and became known as the Ink Spots, a/k/a the 4 Ink Spots. They recorded two 78s on the Victor label, with one being reissued on Bluebird. This group stayed together until 1936.
